The Heinz Pfaffmann winery is the largest organic winery in Germany. The winery has been managed by Gustav Pfaffmann for over 40 years. Today the young generation, Kanupriya and Pawel Hener, bring a breath of fresh air to the traditional business that has existed since 1616.
In the cellar, the maturing of the wines is supported by techniques, such as maceration, storage on fine-yeast in German oak barrels and biological acid reduction. The philosophy of the house is "sensuality", and we believe it is recognizable in the style of our wines: harmonious, drinkable, unpretentious.
We care for sustainable use of nature. That is why the company is a member of Bioland and partner company for nature conservation in Rhineland-Palatinate. The cultivation takes place in organically cultivated vineyards with a high focus on biodiversity. Furthermore, both the cultivation and the vinification are vegan.
