Helios Pasta Industry - established in 1932 - produces high-quality-organic-pasta made from 100% organic durum wheat semolina and is the only pasta industry in Greece that produces also innovative “special” pasta such as: Espressi (quick-cooking) pasta, organic pasta, nest shaped pasta (ie tagliatelle, vermicelli), gluten-free pasta and *organic-whole-wheat pasta *licensed to use the trademark of the US Whole Grain Council.
In 2017 launched new products on Organic-wheat-pasta range, such as Farfalle, Tagliatelle & Lasagne. Recently, kiddo-pasta & Farro-dicocco (Emmer) organic-pasta were launched. Organic GF Couscous and Legumes-bio-pasta will be available within 2020
Helios pasta industry has long experience in the production of Private label products, handles more than 30-brands-globally, produces more than 80 different shapes of pasta.

The company is privately owned by the Dakos family with family members holding key positions in the company.
In 2008 Helios was the first industry that produced certified Organic pasta in Greece.
HELIOS organic pasta range is made from 100% durum wheat semolina of certified organic culture. It contains no chemical and pesticides that might burden our health or planet. It preserves all of its nutritious ingredients intact, tastes great, and it is ideal for the whole family..
In 2016 the family of HELIOS organic pasta is growing even richer.
The new organic whole wheat pasta made by HELIOS with care from the whole wheat grain. Certified organic HELIOS whole wheat pasta is made from 100% semolina of organic durum wheat and is licensed to use the Whole Grain Stamp trademark of the US Whole Grain Council, as 100% Whole Wheat pasta.
Whole wheat pasta, a food rich in natural fiber, has a low glycemic index and helps both the peptic system and the body’s metabolism
Organic whole wheat pasta is rich in fibers and just as tasty as regular organic pasta.

A substantial part of HELIOS’ production is exported to all 5 continents.
Since 2011, the company participates in the International Taste & Quality Institution
Competition (www.itqi.com), which is based in Brussels, and has been awarded 18 times with the Superior Taste Award for the remarkable taste and quality of its
various conventional or organic products.
Helios Life-giving land (“Zeedoros”) organic pasta from Emmer-Farro dicoccum wheat won the Silver award in the “Food” category at the Packaging Innovation Awards 2019. They also received the gold and bronze Healthy Diet 2020 awards in the “Vegan products” category.
