Our Company has very distant roots: everything started back in 1970, when our grandfather, enchanted bythe beauty of the Belìce valley landscape, decided to buy a plot of land. That purchase represented the beginning of everything, the rise of a business mainly based on cultivation and sale of a very precious wheat, which however did not bear any name. In those fields, core of our business, there is all our life, our childhood, our memories, there is the sweat and fatigue of our father who, despite the difficulties, with determination and love, has brought the business forward.
Today we sons, Sandro, Rosanna, Giusy and Valeria, have decided to continue to innovate the family business trying to realize a dream, to grow what
until now has been realized, improving and enhancing it in beauty and quality. The generational transition of which we are the protagonists brings with it a wave of progress, which accompanies the old traditions, always lives in our memory, towards new objectives.
It is from here that the "Azienda Biologica Di Lorenzo" brand is born, the family signature affixed on our wheat, on our flours and all the other products.
The meaning of the Company is alive in the Di Lorenzo Family logo. When we were children, playing in the fields, on the ground we used to find many shells, the more we dug, the more they emerged. We were enchanted by so much beauty. Our father told us that millions of years ago, those places were covered by the waters of the sea, which with time, drying up, left those shells, with which we have created several mosaics in the walls of the farmhouse. The logo, therefore, represents for us the richness of the land, the life and the spikes, the tangible sign of all this.
