Thanks to our sandy soils, our asparagus acquire a very sweet taste, which allows it to be eaten in their original raw. Excellent in salads and cooked.
It is a product with very little wood fiber and therefore, good eating tender.
We are Haciendas Bio. We are specialized in growing stone fruits and vegetables. We consider ourselves a big family that takes care of our lands and our products the same as the consumers would do for their backyard production.
Since the very beginning, we have been dedicated ONLY to organic farming, taking care of all business processes from production to customer service. We guarantee our supply of asparagus from March to May, stone fruits from May to November, apples and pears from August to December and pumpkins from May to December, offering a wide range of varieties of each product. During all this time, we have been investing every year, both financially and emotionally, in the development of our farming and people that belong to the organization.
Our farms are located in Extremadura, one of the regions of Spain. Thanks to its geographical and environmental variables, we have excellent conditions to develop all our crops. We rely on our technical production and business crew, with large experience and knowledge of the industry, and also committed and proud of what we do, our BIO PRODUCTION.
The production process of Haciendas Bio is adapted to the Principles of the Biodynamic method of agriculture. The nourishment of our lands is based on biodynamic composts, which we have been preparing ourselves for years, and the living families of autochthonous animals that contribute to keep the natural cycle of life of the fields. Our farms are mature and stable agro-ecosystems with high biodiversity.
Our main goal is to deliver the products that are born and grown in our farms, offering what our land gives, as well as the little part that each employee has put into it, in other words: to provide life.
