Historically a farmer since 1984, Mrs LACAZE and Mr MELIET have been moving towards organic production since 1992. The farm has grown steadily to this day. She now works 2000 ha at 100% in organic farming. To meet the demand of our customers and the range due to the lack of storage units for organic products in the Armagnac regions where organic farms are numerous, we decided in 2014 to create our own storage silo. exclusively reserved for the production of organic products. What we now allow at all stages of production until departure for the end customer. It is therefore essential to supply grain processors, oilseed crops and pulses to food processors and wholesalers.
BioGascogne Thanks to its development based on a quality system guaranteeing the complete traceability of the seedling until the commitment of the cultures in a gluten-free approach. In 2016, the productions of two of our farms were certified Bio Suisse Organic International Bio Suisse SA (ICB) and Demeter (700 ha). In 2017, two other farms were certified Bio Suisse Organic (280 ha) and two other Demeter (215 ha). In 2018, a new farm was certified Bio Suisse Organic and Demeter (60 ha). And in 2019, the production of a farm was certified Demeter (170 ha). Today, we have five Bio Suisse organic certified farms (1,040 ha) and six Demeter certified farms (1 145 ha).
Our vineyard (120 ha) is also powered by biodynamics. In order to be autonomous and to have a faster response capacity, we have created a mobile dynamisation station with a treatment capacity of 100 ha.
