Step by step, the dairy Berchtesgadener Land has built up a broad range of lactose-free organic products in the last (8) years and thus meets the needs of consumers with lactose intolerance. With the introduction of the new lactose-free organic alpine milk with a fat content of 3.5%, the organic dairy meets the consumers' desire for a full-bodied fresh milk taste.
Food allergies and intolerances are steadily increasing in Germany, increasing the demand for lactose-free dairy products. Furthermore, customers are looking for a full organic milk variant in the existing range of fresh dairy products from the Berchtesgadener Land dairy.
Against these backdrops, the organic dairy expands its diverse "free-of" range with a new lactose-free fresh organic alpine milk (3.5% fat, 1 ltr.).
Fresh organic alpine milk lactose-free in the new format Tetra Edge biobased
From October 1, the switch from slim to the new Tetra Edge biobased format. Both the fresh organic alpine milk with 1.5% fat and the new fresh organic Alpine milk with 3.5% fat will come in autumn in the new format. This makes the packaging more manageable overall. The larger screw cap also ensures easy opening and pouring out of the milk. The new, environmentally friendly biobased beverage carton-packed fresh milk can be stored longer and is then offered to conventional traders and the organic food trade in a 10 x 1 liter container. The recommended retail price is 1.59 EUR / liter.
The new packaging material for the lactose-free organic alpine milk with 1.5% and 3.5% fat is produced around 90% from renewable, plant-based raw materials. The cardboard is made of FSC®-certified wood, while the plastic coating is made of sugar cane. Thus, the oldest Bavarian organic dairy continues its sustainability agenda with the use of this resource-saving packaging material.
