The Consejo de Agricultura Ecológica de la Región de Murcia (Caerm) is the Control Authority of Organic Farming in Region of Murcia (Spain), in accordance with European legislation. Control Authority Code ES-ECO-024-MU.
In 2018 certify 4579 ha used for growing vegetables (lettuce, broccoli, peppers, melons, celery, zucchini, and others), 826 fruit trees (apricot, plum, peach, etc..), 2483 ha citrus (lemon, orange, tangerine and grapefruit) and 30698 ha of nuts (Almonds).
It also certifies 383 food processing or commercialization industries, highlighting those of fruits and vegetables, wine, almonds, oil and vegetable preserves.
