Analysis of Residues and Contaminants
The so called organic contaminants cover a heterogenic spectrum of substances such as illegal dyes, PAH, BTEX, mineral oil hydrocarbons, residual solvent and plasticisers. In addition, process contaminants like acrylamide, furan, 3-MCPD and ester have more and more moved into the spotlight. To keep up-to-date with all the necessary scientific and legal developments, we are actively involved in various (inter-)national committees and we constantly advance the development of more efficient and reliable methods as well as the implementation of new analytical techniques.

The heavy metals lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic are omnipresent within our environment and therefore easily find their way into the food chain. Equipped with AAS, ICP-OES as well as (HR)-ICP-MS-devices, we ensure the sensitive detection of a number of toxic metals and (trace) elements.

The usage of veterinary drugs in commercial husbandry is rather common. There is a noticable trend towards an increasingly wider variety of substances with a decreasing concentration of detectable residues. Our widespread portfolio contains not only a broad spectrum of methods for the analysis of individual veterinary drug classes, but also screening methods for the simultaneous analyses of over 100 active ingredients.
