All certification organisations or control bodies with activities outside the EU must demonstrate that they operate an EU recognised control system when they certify organic products entering the EU. The IOAS can assist certification bodies to comply with the regulation EC 834/2007 by providing assessment against ISO Guide 65/17065 with a separate equivalence assessment of the standards.
