Made from olives that grow in the highest parts of the estate, Es Roquissar comes from those formidable specimens of trees which, grafted hundreds of years ago, flourish in the least expected places. These are the trees that grow on the steepest slopes and the narrowest dry stone terraces where only a unique traditional form of agriculture is possible. Olives for our Es Roquissar Oil are harvested during the months of November and December with a mixture of green and black olives and that is why the oil is smoother a rounder. It is the ideal oil for the typical Mallorcan "pa amb oli", bread or toast with tomato, oil and cold meats or cheese.
Tasting Note Es Roquissar Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a medium fruitiness with aromas of fresh grass, almonds, apple and a slight hint of banana. In the mouth it is balanced with slight bitterness and medium spiciness.
