The Association BIOL ITALIA – Association for the Improvement of Organic Products – was created on 10th September 2010 with the objective of improving the quality of organic products, both in terms of organoleptic, environmental and social aspects. BIOL ITALIA supports organic producers in research, development, training, technical assistance and promotion.
BIOL ITALIA together with C.I.BI. and Consorzio Puglia Natura has developed a transnational network for regional development, national and EU of organic products and PDO, IGP, DOC, IGT quality marks established under the EU Regulation. The management BIOL ITALIA is constantly looking for qualified partners who share goals projects and values related to organic food and the correct use of environmental resources.
Members of BIOL ITALIA are committed to participating in the events of the BIOL network (BIOL, BIOLMIEL, BIOLWINE, BIOLFISH) in which products from various sectors are evaluated and given specific recognition by an international panel of experts, through analysis and tasting sessions.
BIOL ITALIA, thanks to its qualified staff, organizes and implements activities and initiatives to select quality companies and promote their products in trade fairs and events.
For interested buyers BIOL ITALIA is the best tool to organize tasting courses on olive oil, wine, cheeses and honey through the creation of incoming activities at the member companies.
To date, the association has over 500 members mainly represented by companies that adhere to the many promotional and educational initiatives. The quality of members Biol Italy is due to the will and capacity to engage with the market. These are mainly companies already market-oriented and who have decided to face the difficult selection represented by the expert panel of BIOL Prize.

The management, shared with other partners such as C.I.BI. and Consorzio Puglia Natura, of relevant international events related to the network of BIOL prizes like the BiolNovello, the Biolwine, the BiolMiel, the Biolfish, O.A.S.I for the promotion of quality organic products. In particular, the International BIOL Prize, for the best extra virgin organic olive oil in the world, each year attracts more than 400 producers, members of Biol Italia, participating in the competition to be judged by a very qualified international jury that meets in Puglia in March.

The creation of "Quality Circles BIOL" to improve the organization of supply and in order to identify common needs, meet new partners, share projects and new business opportunities.
The Participation in the international exhibition Sana (Bologna – Italy) from 2012 to 2016. With a collective area of 380 square meters occupied in 2016, 36 companies hosted and a number of co-exhibitors steadily growing, Biol Italia represents a point of reference for visitors in Bologna.
The association Biol Italia offers an established formula that includes, in addition to the area occupied by the members co exhibitors, a tasting area and show cooking of the products of the companies and a meeting area for the promotion of the products of Biol Italia members. In September 2017 Biol Italia aims to overcome 400 square meters of exhibition and 40 companies co exhibitors.
Participation in the International Trade Fair BioFach in Nuremberg, from 2012 to 2016 through a vigorous activity of promotion of the Italian organic sector carried out on an exhibition area of 300 square meters in the food sector and more than 80 square meters in the Vivaness and a total of 30 companies co exhibitors. On the occasion of Biofach fair, Biol Italia organizes missions to know the German and European market aimed at young entrepreneurs.
