By offering the FAIR SQUARED Period Cup we transfer the aspect of sustainability to the menstrual cycle. Since we refuse to use plastics and use natural rubber instead, we consistently follow the concept of the menstrual cup. A key aspect of this product is the avoidance of single-use items during the menstrual flow. Futhermore, rubber is a real natural product which is made of the latex milk of the rubber tree Hevea brasiliensis. A high carbon sequestration capacity, a sustainable forestry and the paying of an additional Fair Trade premium to the tappers add up to its advantages. As a novelty to the traders we offer the Period Cup in four different sizes – from S to XL. Those are soft and comfortable menstrual cups which have different volumes. For women who have trained pelvic floor muscles, we present two firmer versions in M and L. Each cup is accompanied by a bag made of organic cotton which should be used for sunlight-protected storage. In contrast to conventional menstrual cups made of plastics we only use natural rubber we obtain from fair trade routes. By this we follow the demands of numerous women who want to avoid plastic products and are instead willing to use those which are as natural as possible.
