Martina Gebhardt, *1959, founder and owner of MG Naturkosmetik, has been developing natural cosmetics since the end of the 1970s. She realizes her love for nature and especially for medicinal plants in her recipes, also with the help of knowledge from ancient monasteries and encounters of healers from all over the world. At the same time, she studied architecture in Munich and successfully completed her studies in 1986. She then worked as an architect for many years.
She is still one of the pioneers in the organic sector today.
Martina Gebhardt has been supplying her cosmetics brand of the same name to organic shops and natural beauticians since the mid-1980s. In 2010, the SensiSana brand was launched after getting to know Masaru Emoto and his vision and sharing his knowledge about the special abilities of water to absorb and transmit impulses. In 2014 she acquired the monastery Wessobrunn, which is today the new home for her company. The theme of water also accompanies them here, because the three artesian springs that rise on the monastery grounds were, according to legend, the reason why the monastery was founded in 953.
"Water is the source of all life and when we become aware of its power we can use it for the benefit of all living beings. My vision is to use old knowledge to create essentials from a few but purest, natural raw materials. Less is more".
