Organic Paprika CO2-to extract contains the colour components from paprika (Capsicum annuum).
The intense red coloured, homogeneous viscous oil gives food and cosmetics an attractive orange to red color.
It is suitable for savory products such as sausages, sauces and snacks as well as naturally colored fruit preparations, dairy products and sweets. The extract is produced by supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide, without any solvent residues, inorganic salts, heavy metals nor reproducible microorganisms.
The extract is standardised by addition of organic sunflower oil on 30000 C.U. and stabilized with FLAVEX organic Rosemary Antioxidant extract. The product is manufactured from organic paprika fruits only. It contains no other additives or technical adjuncts. The product is 100 % natural, corresponds to the EC Flavouring Regulation No. 1334/2008 for flavouring preparations as well as the current guideline of European Commission "Guidance notes on classification of food extracts with colouring properties" .
