THE knowledge transfer and networking event of the organic world
In 2019, the BIOFACH Congress will once again revolve around practice-oriented topics and helpful, fact-based conversations. From 13 to 16 February 2019, the organic world will meet again in Nuremberg to discuss important topics, learn from each other and pass on knowledge at the congress that takes place at the same time as BIOFACH, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food.
If you would like to use the BIOFACH Congress to hold sales, product or company presentations (advertising), you can register an exhibitor’s presentation here. The content and structure of your exhibitor’s presentations are entirely up to you. You will be charged a room usage fee (per started hour). The rooms are located mainly in NCC Mitte, occasionally in NCC Ost. You will find more information here:
Everyone is welcome to submit proposals and help actively shape the Congress. There are no fees for participation as a speaker at the congress. If your proposal for the 2019 congress program is taken into account, we assume that you and the participating speakers are on site. Costs for travel and accommodation are borne by the proposers, no fees are paid (see also services and expenses).
The closing date for submissions is Tuesday , 25 September 2018.
Congress events do not need to be registered for separately and are free of charge for trade fair visitors and exhibitors.
Selected presentation content and discussion results related to the focal theme “The organic system: healthy in a holistic approach” will be documented in cooperation with IFOAM - Organics Internationalin what will be known as the Congress Digest summed up by the moderators or speakers involved on the dast day of the congress and publicly put up for discussion.
The aim is to summarize and discuss the content on site in order to create a content. The topic will then be prepared in writing an will be available for press and public relations after the fair.
Make a note of the appointment now. The presentation “Congress Digest” on the main theme of the conference “ The organic system: healthy in a holistic approach” will take place on Friday, 15 February 2019, 14:00 – 16:00 hrs. The lecture date is public and open to all visitors.

The congress begins on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 (first day of the fair) and runs until Friday, February 15. The Forum Fachhandel runs until Saturday, February 16, 2019.
Congress speakers will receive free admission for the duration of the trade fair, access to the VIP Lounge and an entrance ticket for the exhibitors’ evening on Friday, 15 February 2019. The individual congress events will be published with their titles and speakers on the Internet and in the congress programme free of charge. BIOFACH will provide rooms with the required equipment (row seating, a lectern (without a notebook), presentation tables and a projector) assistance from the congress hostesses free of charge. Travel expenses, accommodation costs and other fees will not be paid.

The BIOFACH Congress programme will be published on the website in December 2018. A printed version will also be released shortly before the trade fair and congress.
In 2019, the focus of the discussions will be on the relationship between organic and health: Healthy business operating in a healthy environment mean healthy food.
BIOFACH’s international patron, IFOAM - Organics International, and national supporting organisation, the German Federation of the Organic Food Industry (BÖLW), are joining forces with the trade fair to highlight this area.
