All the most important BIOFACH Congress facts and figures
With over 9,000 participants, the BIOFACH Congress is the sector’s largest international knowledge and networking platform. From 17 - 20 February 2021, the organic world will meet again in Nuremberg to discuss future questions of the market and future strategies, to learn from each other and pass on knowledge at the congress that takes place at the same time as BIOFACH, the Worlds’s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food.
Congress events do not need to be registered for separately and are free of charge for trade fair visitors and exhibitors (see also Information about trade visitor registration).
Selected presentation contents and discussion results to the focal theme "Shaping Transformation. Stronger. Together." will be documented by a team from IFOAM - Organics International. The aim is to summerize the most important results and highlights for you on the last day of the congress and present them for discussion.
Please mark the date already now! The presentation on the congress focal theme "Shaping Transformation. Stronger. Together." is expected to take place on Friday, 19. February 2021, from 1 to 2.30 pm.
BIOFACH’s international patron, IFOAM - Organics International, national supporting organisation, The German Federation of the Organic Food Industry (BÖLW) and BIOFACH are joining forces to design the focal topic of the congress every year.
The focal topic „Shaping Transformation. Stronger. Together.“ discusses how the food turnaround can progress even better through the cooperation of different transformation movements.
The congress languages are German and English. Some selected contributions are translated simultaneously from German into English.
The congress begins on Wednesday, 17 February 2021 (first day of the fair) and runs until Saturday, 20 February 2021.
Congress speakers will receive free admission for the trade fair, access to the VIP / Speakers Lounge and an entrance ticket for the exhibitors' evening on Friday, 19 February 2021 (if feasible in 2021 due to corona). The individual congress envents will be published free of charge at www.biofach.de with their titles and speakers.
BIOFACH will provide rooms with the required equipment (row seating a lectern (without a notebook), presentation tables and a projector, assistance from the congress hostesses free of charge.

Every year, the organic sector is invited to submit program proposals via the " Call for ideas". The program is developed from the abundance of submissions and in coordination with those involved: as a knowledge anc discussions platform from the sector for the sector. Unilateral advertising, sales or company presentations are not permitted.
Please note: Suggestions can be submitted only through Wednesday, 30 September 2020.
