This is what BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2020 had to offer.
Why phosphonic acid residues in organic wine? The Italian BIOFOSF-WINE project
Being the event targeted to EU organic wine producers, we will discuss on the origin of phosphonic acid residues in organic wine, not only due to not allowed pesticides application in organic farming, but mainly to technical means containing phosphites, used in the field or in cellars. This induces to not apply too rigid limits for phosphorous acid contamination in organic wines.
