BIOFACH World – Quarterly News Update Vol. I 2022
Good news from BIOFACH World: The seven months from May to November 2022 will see no less than six gatherings of the international organic community around the globe, following two challenging years in the shadow of the pandemic. The events will be hosted in Shanghai, São Paulo, Nuremberg, Delhi, Philadelphia and Riyadh. In Brazil, the eager anticipation about BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA after a two-year intermission matches the excitement about a reunion in the USA, where BIOFACH AMERICA enjoyed a successful restart in 2021 at its new location and exhibition venue in Philadelphia. In 2022, BIOFACH in Nuremberg will take the form of a one-off summer edition. At BIOFACH World, planning for 2023 is at full tilt, as the two remaining BIOFACH events out of a total of eight, i.e., BIOFACH JAPAN (Tokyo) and BIOFACH SOUTH EAST ASIA (Bangkok), are set to take place in March and July 2023 respectively.
BIOFACH CHINA
The first BIOFACH event in the trade fair calendar for 2022 is BIOFACH CHINA.

BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA
After a two-year wait and pandemic-induced break, BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA – BIO BRAZIL FAIR is set to take the stage at the Anhembi Exhibition Centre in São Paulo, Brazil, from 8 to 11 June 2022. The anticipation is building, and expectations are high among the suppliers and industry specialists who visit the event to learn about innovations and trends in the organic sector, make new contacts, share ideas and add to their professional knowledge. Consumers too are invited to enjoy the event and will have the opportunity to get to know and try the brands on display. This stimulates consumption and creates added value for the entire supply chain.
A distinctive feature of BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA – BIO BRAZIL FAIR is the supporting programme, which offers a range of presentations on all facets of organic production and sustainability. These events help to establish healthy habits among the population. The trade fair highlights include the International Forum for Ecological and Sustainable Production, the congress on natural and organic cosmetics, and presentations with special guests and industry experts.

BIOFACH Nuremberg
Following its postponement, BIOFACH, the world’s leading fair for organic food, will take place alongside VIVANESS, international trade fair for natural and organic personal care, from 26 – 29 July 2022 as a one-off summer edition. Exhibition Centre Nuremberg then looks set to welcome a total of 2,500 exhibitors, 200 of them at VIVANESS.
Over the four-day event, the trade fair pairing in July 2022 will showcase all facets of organic food and natural and organic cosmetic products. Exhibitors, visitors and media representatives can look forward to a multisensory trade fair experience. The focus will be on personal networking, making new business contacts and finally nurturing existing relationships face-to-face again, discovering innovations and seeking inspiration. Alongside the unrivalled product range, innovations and trends, the BIOFACH Congress is yet another highlight of the event. In 2022 it will run under the banner: Organic.Climate.Resilience.

“We can hardly wait to go back to Philly from 29 September to 1 October 2022. After its highly successful premiere with 800 exhibitors and more than 15,000 visitors attending BIOFACH AMERICA and the Natural Products Expo East following the relocation to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia last year, the prospects are looking good for 2022 as well,” says a delighted Katharina Neumann, Manager International Events at NürnbergMesse. “For example, it has already been confirmed that Argentina, Brazil and Germany will have their own pavilions at the event! Incidentally, it is still possible to register for all the pavilions.”
LIMBUA is one of the exhibitors taking part in the premiere of BIOFACH SAUDI ARABIA, the BIOFACH Summer Edition 2022 in Nuremberg and the BIOFACH AMERICA event. Its founder Matti Spiecker says: “For LIMBUA, BIOFACH is the No. 1 event in the organic sector where we regularly meet existing contacts and customers in person. Especially after the pandemic-imposed break, we are looking forward with our expanded sales team to exchanging ideas and building and strengthening our valuable relationships.
