Sustainability at BIOFACH

Sustainability icon of NürnbergMesse: Orange leaf with slogan Sustainability is our compass

A diet of organic food combines personal health and the protection of our planet in a natural way. However, for organic food to be more prevalent in retail, private households and canteens, a comprehensive transformation is needed - from the field to the plate. BIOFACH, the world's leading trade fair for organic food, focuses on the importance of organic products along the entire value chain, plant-based nutrition and natural cultivation methods. A lively industry meeting place for innovations in sustainable agriculture, global food security and climate protection.

Our events are global platforms for sustainable innovation.

BIOFACH serves up new trends and topics relating to organic food to its visitors. The accompanying BIOFACH Congress invites industry and media experts as well as stakeholders from politics and administration to take part in discussions. And to actively help shape the agenda of the various congress forums - from current challenges to future strategies. Decision-makers can network and deepen their knowledge together. They will also find inspiring sessions and exclusive content on the BIOFACH digital online platform beyond the duration of the trade fair.

The community decides - and benefits from the advantage of already knowing the developments of tomorrow. Technologies and AI are part of the revolution. However, the food revolution is taking place in the kitchen: With live cooking shows and talks, the Planetary Health experience showcases the future of a globally sustainable diet.
